This is a little disingenuous. From this angle, on a perfectly flat rigid surface, there may be less room. Sure. From the driver’s perspective, when the car is dug into the dirt or gravel of a runoff area, it could be a different story.

That scenario could happen, I think. Front end hits, digs in/disintegrates, and your pic no longer applies. The halo becomes point of contact
